Another new green venture of mine is the “eco-flier”. How many times have you driven up to a new listing only to find the flier box empty or a crumpled pile of wet paper inside? The “eco-flier” solves that problem. It’s a poster of the listing flier with all the information from the paper version. Passers-by can get all the details on the house, including my phone number and email address. Plus there’s no empty or messy flier box for you to worry about and no wasted paper. Check out the photo below. I have an eco-flier up at each of my current listings.
My current sellers are also benefitting from another great new tool – the virtual tour. I’m working with a company that takes professional photos and creates an online photo tour of your property. I can link to the tour from the RMLS website, my personal website, blog and email messages. I’m also posting virtual tour links on all fliers and eco-fliers and Facebook. The market may be moving slowly, but it is moving! Properties that are priced well and show nicely are still selling quickly. I’ve even been involved in a few bidding wars this year.
